Managing Project Communications

Centralize and manage all emails and communications within a project.

Before using Communications:

Your email must be connected to your Drodat account. If your email is not connected, you will see a prompt to reconnect.

To send an email from a project:

  1. Open a Project

  2. Go to the Communications tab

  3. Click Compose

  4. Add recipients in the To, CC, or BCC fields

  5. Enter a subject and message

  6. Send the email

When sending emails from the project:

  • Each project has a unique email identifier

  • This email is automatically CC’d on all outgoing messages

  • This ensures all replies and future messages are captured and tracked within the project

  • The Project ID is automatically included in the subject line for consistent tracking

You can also:

  • View all emails (Sent, Received, Logged)

  • Search communications by subject, sender, or recipient

  • Open threads to view full conversations

  • Reply, reply all, or forward messages

  • Export communication logs as PDF or CSV

This keeps all communication organized, traceable, and tied directly to the project.
