Before using Communications:
Your email must be connected to your Drodat account. If your email is not connected, you will see a prompt to reconnect.
To send an email from a project:
Open a Project
Go to the Communications tab
Click Compose
Add recipients in the To, CC, or BCC fields
Enter a subject and message
Send the email
When sending emails from the project:
Each project has a unique email identifier
This email is automatically CC’d on all outgoing messages
This ensures all replies and future messages are captured and tracked within the project
The Project ID is automatically included in the subject line for consistent tracking
You can also:
View all emails (Sent, Received, Logged)
Search communications by subject, sender, or recipient
Open threads to view full conversations
Reply, reply all, or forward messages
Export communication logs as PDF or CSV
This keeps all communication organized, traceable, and tied directly to the project.
